 Merry Christmas 2021

This year has flown by so rapidly.  As we reflect over 2021 there are many emotions.  This August Mom Bell passed away.  She is the most amazing mother I (Caroline) could have ever imagined and so many words, experiences and day to day moments remind me of her and the blessing she was in my life.

I made her secret Shortbread recipe recently for an annual cookie exchange and it brought back a flood of memories of her baking in the kitchen and always welcoming all in her home.

Liam graduated from high school in May and just finished his first semester of college.  He had a great first semester and is so enjoying his friends, professors and the school. We are so thankful he has found a great learning community he enjoys.  We were able to visit him over his Fall break for a few days and he was able to come home for Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for technology to connect with ease and facetime each other.

Aaron is a junior in high school and just completed his Eagle Scout project. He has a few more aspects of the project to complete.  The big project was planting 300 trees. The project fell on our 22nd wedding anniversary. It was such an amazing time together and we are so thankful for all who donated to his project with resources, funds and time.  The day of the project we had over 40 volunteers come from near and far to be part of the project.

One of Glenn's hobbies is fly fishing and he is still enjoying it immensely.  Caroline just completed her 6th year as a full time Realtor and loves every minute connecting and meeting clients from all areas and being part of the home ownership goals.

The summer we took a vacation to Snowshoe in WV.  We loved it and enjoyed swimming, hiking, boating and a highlight of the trip was visiting the Green Bank Observatory and taking a walking tour...very informative.

Merry Christmas 2020

This year Liam is a Senior and Aaron is a Sophomore.  It truly does not seem possible. We just celebrated 21 years of marriage which is another milestone that came rapidly.

In Morocoo

In January, Glenn and Caroline were able to take a trip of a lifetime to Morocco.  Glenn was the recipient of a work award trip and it was amazing.  We are so thankful for that time away and for dear friends who hosted the boys for five days.  Morocco is a stunning country and the people of the Morocco are some of the nicest we have ever met.  It was wonderful to immerse in another culture and meet some people we would not have otherwise met.  We are still in contact with one of the guides we spent some time with.

August 2020

We were able to take a small family getaway to New Bern (NC) in August before the boys went back to school. We rented a condo on the water and while many places were not open due to Covid we enjoyed the change of scenery and being able to do a few things that are not part of our day to day lives including seeing dolphins play in the water and seeing a lighthouse up close and take a few boat trips.

Liam has submitted all of his college/university applications and we are looking forward to seeing what is ahead for him.  He became an Eagle Scout this Fall and we are so proud of that significant accomplishment.  We were not able to have a celebration due to Covid, however, are so thankful for all who have been part of his Scout journey.

Aaron is on track to also become an Eagle.  We are so thankful that the boys have had this amazing experience which has given them an appreciation for the outdoors and leadership exposure.  It has been a wonderful opportunity for them.

Glenn has taken up Fly Fishing and is really enjoying that when time permits.

He continues to love his career and working with his coworkers. We are blessed to be able to get away to the NC mountains as a family and enjoy living in such close proximity to both the mountains and the beach.

Caroline just celebrated her fifth anniversary with Allen Tate Real Estate and is passionate about seeing home dreams become a reality and advocating for both home buyers and sellers.  So many of Caroline's clients are now dear friends.  www.carolinegrossman.allentate.com

October wedding fun as a family

Thanksgiving we ventured up to Virginia to be with Caroline's side of the family and were so pleased that our nephew was able to fly in from Denver to be with us.  All Bell family cousins were together for Thanksgiving which accounted for ages 29 down to 17.

We would love to hear from you

Merry Christmas 2013

Age 10

Age 8

Liam is in his fourth year of Cub Scouts and continues to thrive.  Glenn has been his den
leader all  four years.  In March Liam will be promoting up to Boy Scouts. Aaron is in his second year of Scouting and loves it.

This summer the boys started playing golf. Liam has taken a keen interest in basketball and just started his first season on a team.  Aaron and Liam are also involved in a wonderful choir that meets weekly.

Hilton Head Island

We added a four legged family member in March.  Our affection for Maggie continues to grow daily.  She is sweet natured and gets along nicely with our cat, Charlotte,  who is now 17.

This summer Glenn was impacted by mass layoffs at his place of employment.  We moved to our current town for that opportunity and are thankful for the five years of provision and opportunity provided.   We give God the glory for providing a fulfilling new position which Glenn enjoys  immensely.

Caroline continues in her same role and does not take working from home for granted.  It has been wonderful to be able to work for a West Coast headquartered employer.

This year many of you have faced immense challenges. We recognize  this time of year is a reflection for many and we look to 2014 with hope.

Liam - August
Luke 2:10-14

10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Merry Christmas and much love from our family ,

Merry Christmas 2009

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men"
Luke 2:14 KJV

We continue to be amazed at how the boys are emotionally maturing, their thirst of knowedge and the physical sprouting that seems to happen overnight.

Liam recently completed his third season of soccer with a local ministry called SOAR Sports. His personality exhibits itself on the field and his skills increase each season. Liam is extremely creative, enjoys peaceful moments and is very thoughtful.

Liam enjoys school and adores Mrs. Woodell who is his First Grade teacher. He is looking forward to his seventh birthday in March.

Aaron also loves attending school. Each weekday morning Aaron enthusiastically runs to his preschool class and loves to greet the Director at the door and Ms. Jane (his teacher). It is a joy to pick him up and hear all the wonderful things he did and learned that day.

Aaron's focus right now is music, legos, preschool, coloring and being anywhere Liam wants to be. He is also quite the conversationalist.

Caroline turned 40 at the end of August and entered this decade kicking and screaming as Glenn looked on with a smile. This year scrapbooking fell by the wayside as Caroline has taken a keen interest in utilizing coupons.

Timeless Glenn recently turned 42. He continues in his current position at the bank and really enjoys his work.

December 4 we celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary. God's faithfulness has been limitless as we have seen evidence of His hand on our family this past decade and the wonderful memories we have experienced thus far on this incredible journey.

It has been a hard year for many people we care about. We know many who are unemployed and others who experienced the loss of a spouse or parent. You are in our prayers as we prepare to celebrate Christmas and focus on the babe who came to give us life everlasting.

Love, peace and blessings,

Glenn, Caroline, Liam and Aaron

Merry Christmas 2008

Luke 2:11
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
As we reflect over 2008; our prayer is that this Christmas season brings you peace in your heart, joy in the true meaning of Christmas and special memories to hold dear.

Glenn received his MBA in May which then led to a move back to the East Coast in June. We lived in Arizona for 5 1/2 years and it was hard to say farewell to such dear friends that were such an integral part of our day to day life.

Our move went smoothly and Liam started Kindergarten in late August.

Liam is very creative and has a very sweet, caring spirit. He loves to make things, color and also played on his first soccer team this fall. It was great fun to see the 5-6 year olds practice and play their games.

Aaron started preschool in early September and attends a preschool class with other three year olds two morning per week.
Aaron is full of life and his contagious laugh always brings a smile. He enjoys playing with trains, cars, painting and spending time with his big brother.

Since our move we have had visits from Andrew, Beth and the children (Caroline's brother and family), Jeff, Barbara and the children (Glenn's brother and family), NaNa Grossman (Glenn's mom), Granny and PaPa Bell (Caroline's parents) and Glenn was also able to fly to California for his grandmother's surprise 99th birthday. We were also blessed to have Cousin Craig visit from New Zealand.
This December we celebrated nine years of marriage and Caroline's parents 50!

We are thankful for the path God has paved for us and His navigation of our day to day life as a family. We thank God for those who are dear to us that live in close proximity and those far away. Most importantly, we are thankful that Jesus came as a babe; born to change mankind forever.

Blessings and love,
